Eva Mendes cut a dramatic figure when she strode through LAX this weekend. The star, who was looking nothing like J. Lo, tried to melt into the background with a checked scarf and wide-legged trousers. We were feeling particularly eagle-eyed, and we snapped a few pics as she tried to slip past.

Eva might always look dramatic and slim, but she made it clear that she isn't a fan of gyms. She recently admitted that "I work out once a week doing light weights but on the whole I find gyms so grey and so ugly - I don't want to listen to bad techno music on a treadmill. I prefer to go running near my house in Los Angeles with my dog or my neighbor, which I do around five times a week. And I go uphill too, which is hard!"

Whatever works-- she looks great even when she's trying to go incognito.
