Jessica Simpson celebrated Macy's 150th birthday last night wearing a
black skirt and a gray jack with a fur-lined collar (Is that raccoon?
Lemur?). The "Come on Over" singer was all smiles probably due to the
news that her new movie, Major Movie Star, is a hit! In Russia! Seriously!
The film, which stars Jess as a down-on-her-luck pop star who enlists in the US Army, opened at #1 at the Russian box office. But don't think that the success in Eastern Europe will translate to box office dollars here in the states, the film still does not have a release date in the US and there aren't any plans in the works to do so.
