John Mayer was looking on the not-so-happy side when we saw him in New York City. Carrying a large green bag, he stepped out of his Manhattan apartment in fatigues and a black tee. I wonder if he happened to get a glimpse of a recent article from the Boston Globe called "Blame It on John Mayer"?

Mayer spent time with Marines at Air Station New River and Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C. last week, after which he said that "Believe me when I say that the day was life-changing."

So why the frown, John?
