"Material Girl" Madonna was seen going to the Kabbalah Center in New York with her young son David. Madonna adopted David in 2006 but had to go through a lot of controversy and legal wranglings before finalizing the adoption. David was born in Malawi, a poor country in the southern half of Africa, which has a per capita GDP of $800 (compared to $43,594 for the USA).

Madonna is currently preparing to start the North America leg of her Sticky & Sweet Tour, with concerts in East Rutherford, New York City and Boston forthcoming. She will be touring South America in December. So far, the tour has received rave reviews from critics for her performance.
