As the curtain fell on Madonna's Boston concert last night it was clear, for the singer at least, that the show must go on. At the start of her tour she cryptically told fans, "in 29 moves the queen will dump the king", but it appears the queen couldn't wait any longer. Announcing to the world she was divorcing husband Guy Ritchie just before her 29 tour dates were over.
In light of a new day, the papers are full of varying stories of who actually caused the demise of their seven and half year union. Madonna has lashed out at Guy, claiming he was a selfish husband for not supporting her desire to adopt, nor her wishes to spend more time in NYC. Adding he always spent 'her' money and was too devoted to his pub The Punchbowl.
Guy on the other hand has fought back saying he doesn't want a penny of his once loving wifes £300 million fortune. Pals says he is upset Madonna is painting him in a bad light, but won't hide the fact he thought the singer spent to much time on Kalabbah and was too obsessed with jet setting, when all he wanted was a quiet life.
