Couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are rarely snapped side by side, be it in public or on the red carpet. But having seen these beaming smiles from the pair yesterday, it seems a real shame it doesn't happen more often. 

Splash caught the duo arriving at the opening of the Albertti Flagship on Melrose Avenue, in West Hollywood. The evening was hosted by Alberta Ferretti, Marisa Tomei and Lucy Liu. While other attendees included Nicky Hilton, Melissa George, Ali Larter, Amy Smart, Emmy Rossum and Elisha Cuthbert.
