Pete Wentz thinks he's totally tricky when it comes to names-- who hadn't figured out where "Bronx Mowgli" had come from? Pete felt the need to explain his new son's name to radio show host Ryan Seacrest, commenting that "I don't think anybody knows what the real story is of why or how."

"The Jungle Book was something that me and Ashlee bonded over. It's a cool name."

"We came up with the idea Bronx," he said. "We've been throwing [ideas] back and forth a while. It's kind of cool to just leave the narrative what it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever."

"And you're like, you know what: I don't think anyone really has the real story." Pressed over by whether the name was actually a joke, Wentz insisted: "No, no, no, it definitely is his name..."

Do you feel weirdly insulted that he thought we didn't "get" the name?
