Fires have destroyed nearly 100 homes in the
area of the Montecito hills where Oprah
Winfrey and British comedian John Cleese have homes. The winds have
died down allowing the Santa Barbara County fire department to gain
some ground but the wind could return tonight due to the high
temperartures and low humidity today.
