Sports commentator and retired basketball star Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of a DUI yesterday, where it looks like he may have taken ringing in the 08-09 thing a little too seriously (and too early at that). 

Barkley has already issued a statement saying that "I am disappointed that I put myself in that situation. The Scottsdale police were fantastic. I will not comment any further as it is a legal matter." He was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona after he ran a stop sign, and on-site sobriety tests were administered. 

Lt. Eric Shuhandler of the Gilbert Police Department stated that Barkley's "performance on the field sobriety test revealed there was probable cause to make an arrest."

The best part? Barkley was supposedly partying with Jaleel White (otherwise known as Urkel!).
