Award-winning actor Kiefer Sutherland finally received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 24 actor received the 2,377th star placed on Hollywood Boulevard and connecting streets.

His father, legendary actor Donald Sutherland who does not yet have his own star, introduced his son to the crowd. Also in attendance yesterday were director Joel Schumacher and his 24 co-stars Mary Lynn Rajskub, Carlos Bernard and Annie Wersching.

This is an amazing turn around for Sutherland, who at this time last year was starting a 48-day jail sentence stemmig from a 2007 drunk-driving conviction.
