SNTV: Tom Cruise And Matt Lauer Meet Again!
2:21 Monday, December 15, 2008
The actor faced criticism following the 2005 television appearance when he sparred with Today Show host Matt Lauer and said he was 'glib' and argued with him about psychiatry and anti-depressant drugs. Now, interviewed by Lauer again three-and-a-half years later, he says he regrets his choice of words.
"You know, after looking at it, it's not what I had intended. In looking at myself, I thought 'Man, that came across [as] arrogant.' That's one of those things you go, 'OK, I could have absolutely handled that better.'"Cruise stopped by the Today Show to promote his new Nazi-era movie Valkyrie, which opens in theaters on Christmas Day.

This little tommy likes it to be seen as some sort of HERO?
"PLANET OF THE APES".....................................again?
A few years ago, Tom Cruise appeared in an interview with Matt Lauer where he acted irrationally, to say the least, and he's now trying to repair bad credit with the public. During the much-publicized interview, made famous through internet sharing, Cruise called Lauer "glib," and decried the profession of psychiatry. He made amends on his publicity tour for his upcoming film "Valkyrie" by going on the Today show, and being interviewed by Lauer, during which he apologized for his previous behavior. Valkyrie debuts this Christmas. To learn more about the interview, or how to repair bad credit, click here.
