Breaking News: John Travolta's Son Dies

We don't have official confirmation yet, but word coming out of the
Bahamas is that John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett has passed away.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to the Travolta family.
Update: John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston were vacationing in the Bahamas with the whole family when they rushed Jett to the Rand Memorial Hospital. According to the hospital he suffered a seizure and apparently drowned in the bathtub of the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island where the family was staying.
Update 2: How is this for freaky, Kelly Preston's father drowned in Hawaii when she was 3-years-old.

This is beyond tragic. May God help them find a way to heal.

The death of a child is so heartbreaking no matter the circumstances. It seems even more tragic when it is unexpected. Unfortunately the Travolta and Preston family will now experience a generation of grief where once there was joy.
