Jett Travolta's Body Is Cremated

Jett Travolta's body was cremated yesterday in a sensational turn of
events on Grand Bahama island.
In a dramatic development, the 16-year-old boy's devastated parents
last night requested a cremation to take place, despite previous
suggestions that Travolta would instead be flying the body home to
Florida.
The
unexpected announcement came during a press conference held by Keith
McSweeney, funeral director of Restview Memorial Mortuary and
Crematorium, in the island's capital of Freeport. "The family has
requested a cremation and that is being done at the mortuary as we
speak," said Mr McSweeney, at 6.30pm yesterday.
Although
yesterday's bizarre chain of events saw reporters and photographers
watch a coffin loaded into a hearse and driven to Grand Bahama
International Airport, where Travolta's private plane stood. It's
believed John Travolta then piloted the plane himself, upon request to
do so.
