Leighton Meester was spotted taking a break during a Gossip Girl filming session yesterday in her bright red coat-- doesn't she make finger food look appealing? The actress was seen looking like she was loving life as she smiled and laughed with cast members and staff near the lake in New York. Judging from the double coat, the weather wasn't very cooperative for filming.

When she's not working on the popular CW show, Leighton's been getting ready for her career in music. "The music is very fun. It's edgy, like electro-pop rather than bubblegum, and you can dance to it," she told Us mag about her upcoming album.
