These latest pictures of Amy Winehouse in St Lucia show the troubled
star appears to be well on the road to recovery, getting her life back
on track so much so she might even be thinking about what comes next.
We're hearing that the "Rehab" singer is planning to adopt a child from the Caribbean island where she's currently working on her eagerly anticipated third album.
The 25-year-old singer now apparently sees herself as the 'Angelina Jolie of St Lucia' and wants to help poor and underprivileged children - just as the news comes that her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil got a woman pregnant after they met at a rehab clinic.

Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background. Before you freak out about a woman, who can barely look after herself taking care of a child, according to her spokesman, it looks like it will be adoption through sponsorship.
Amy's gutted about Blake becoming a dad and moving on so quickly. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt.
Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project.Do you think the children of St. Lucia will benefit from the help of a role model like Amy Winehouse?

It is news that now travels fast thanks to the internet, but new research all the same indicating that adoption is proving to be a complex and sensitive issue, for some professionals' insights, please see >
