It has been pretty quiet on the Britney Spears front with the success of her of new album Circus and the packed arenas during her tour but yesterday, Christina Lutfi, the younger sister of shady Sam Lutfi, her former manager/hanger on, testified in court that she snuck a prepaid cellphone to the "Womanizer" singer in a Beverly Hills hotel gym. According to The Lutfi's, Britney is sick of the conservatorship and the controlling ways of her father Jamie Spears.

"[Britney] told me she wanted to get a hold of Sam," said Christina, 25, whose brother had once been Spears' manager. "She wanted him to help her find a lawyer, and wanted someone to get a prepaid cell phone to her. She was scared because her father was blackmailing her with visitation rights over her kids."

While the cell phone is a definite violation of the restraining order against Shady Sam and her former paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, do we really think Jamie Spears would dangle her kids in front of her like a carrot, to get her to trot out on stage?

I know living under her father's rules may seem like prison to a woman whose been the bread winner for her family since she was 9 but without the conservatorship, would she have the hit singles? The hit record? The sold-out tours? Her new Candie's shoes endorsement?

And more importantly, any visitation rights at all to see her kids?
