Winona: "I Have No Resentment Towards Angelina"

Winona Ryder says she has no ill-will toward Angelina Jolie for stealing the spotlight in their 1999 film, Girl Interrupted.
Although Ryder was the star and Executive Producer, It was Jolie who got all the attention and brought home the Oscar gold for Best Supporting Actress.
She says, "I knew from the outset that whoever plays Lisa was going to get all the attention. But there's no resentment. When it came out, people felt bad for me. But I expected it all along. I was really proud of the film."
If anything, Winona says she felt bad for Angie.
"At the time I worked with her, she was battling her looks because she's so beautiful. She wanted very much to be taken seriously and not just judged for her looks. She conquered that."
And for those of you who loved the film Heathers. Winona CONFIRMED that there is a sequel in the works.
"Whatever you hear, there is a sequel in the works. I swear to God."
Don't swear Winona, no one wants you to get caught shoplifting a lie.
