Note to Nick Lachey, your girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo has marriage on the brain and wants a ring on her finger!

Perhaps that's why he's escaped to LA with brother Drew and his wife and child?

In an interview with Robin Leach, 28-year-old Minnillo pointed  to the 5 carat rock on her middle finger and said that, "it will be 10 carats when it moves fingers."

Just think of it this way Vanessa, that's a lot of sparkle when you're flipping him off!

In the course of the interview, Vanessa reportedly mentioned marriage five times.  But, she dismisses any trouble in paradise saying that things are getting better and better.
