Spencer Pratt has said he never planned to leave I'm A Celebrity and said it was just a "mental fake out" to "mess" with the other contestants. 


That sounds like the most ridiculous statement we've heard all week.

The 25-year-old entered the Costa Rican jungle with wife Heidi Montag, 22, but the couple reportedly quit the reality show shortly after it started.


However, it is now claimed the pair's departure was part of a ploy to boost ratings and the couple will now be making a return.


Spencer said:

"[It was all a] mental fake out to mess with the competitors." 


He also had time to attack fellow Hills star Audrina Patridge after she said she would never appear on the NBC reality show. 


He said:

"Heads up, Audrina. Just because you have a one-night stand with a guy who's in a movie called Star Trek doesn't make you a star. You're just a ho."

Most reality stars are a little bit foolish since it really is their bread-and-butter, but this guy sets new standards for being a clown.

Just check out these pics of the couple trying to fake everyone out with a diversion.  Evidently Speidi hired a couple of people to cover themselves with a black sheet and wander around LAX with some bodygaurds thinking it would fool the paps.   Ridiculous.
