No one has ANY right to touch/grab someone else that way IF THEY DON'T PERSONALLY KNOW THEM. I can't imagine what was going through the poor guy's head as it was happening. They need to learn some self-control and decorum!

I am APPAULED at the behaviour of these fan-girls. Its disgusting. Saw pics of the set today. He looks absolutely MISERABLE. I'm afraid he's gonna crack under the pressure. Those fangirls were psychotic. They were harassing Rob throughout the shoot. This incident just happened to be caught on camera. That blonde should be arrested for assault. The two bodyguards are in over their heads. They're probably off-duty police officers rather than bodyguards who are used to protecting celebrities; there is no way three, THREE - blonde, red-wigged blue shirt, black hat wearing psychotics who were a part of the same group, should have been able to come into bodily contact with Rob. A call to Summit to hire better and more bodyguards for Rob as there will always be the psychotic "fans" aka those with no life of their own who project their fantasies onto celebrities. If Rob changes his stance on fans and puts up barriers to them from that moment on, we can all thank these immature, psychotic fanwomen. I hope they're recognized in real life for the major damage they've done for future fan encounters with Rob and get what they deserve, an eye-for-an-eyein the process.

these girls are not fans they are stalkers after there 5 seconds of fame. how disgusted this made me feel. the poor guy is a human being, trying to work and they should be ashamed of themselves. summit what the? you have seen his popularity soar he needs to be taken better care of than this!
please rob know that you have so many fans worldwide who love your work and support you and please dont think that this is what all your fans are like.
hang in there and stay focused on the fabulous work you are doing and most importantly be happy. we only get one life to do it on.

I think everyone should email Summit and let them know that they need to offer Rob more protection. If he's going to be in this bus for the long haul they are going to have to understand the risks he takes just by showing up for work. How is he supposed to pull off of a strong performance in these situations? Yes, he's a professional, but he's also just human. I've read alot about this movie - it is supposed to be a great script. How on earth can anyone expect him to do his job well when this chaos surrounds him. LEAVE HIM ALONE. I hope he and Kristen Stewart BACK OUT of Breaking Dawn. They are both too good to be treated like this. I'd rather see them in something worthwhile.

Everything everyone has said is so very true. I am disgusted, disheartened, and completely blown away by the lack of self control and humanity these young women showed. Assault charges should be pressed and the set, if at all possible, should be closed. Given the fact that it is being shot in NYC this may not be possible but better protection for all of the actors should be a high priority...especially for the IT boy of the hour, Mr. Rob Pattinson. I have read enough about him to know he's already a bit paranoid so I can only imagine the stress he felt yesterday. If people don't stop, and this includes annoying papparazzi then this man could very well begin suffering from PTSD. He may have chosen to be an actor but even actors deserve the right to be human and do things that we all take for granted...WITHOUT having a camera in their face 24/7. Poor Rob, as a mom I just want to give him a big hug and let him know that there are plenty of us out there that WON'T attack him and are just happy seeing his movies and hoping he has a long and fulfilling carreer.

I'd feel raped if some guy I didn't know did that to me.
