Eva Longoria Parker is set to expand her business empire with a new restaurant in Las Vegas and a chain of airport eateries.

The Desperate Housewives star is proving her entrepreneurial chops with the success of her restaurant Beso - 'kiss' in Spanish - in Hollywood.

Now she is set to open a second venue in Las Vegas - along with a lounge called Eve - and said she is "so excited".

The 34-year-old said: "Vegas has the most energy in the world. It's a foodie city, which is great for us because of our menu. Everything we offer is pretty unique. Nobody in Vegas has anything similar."

But the expansion does not stop there - Longoria is also launching a series of small-scale versions of the restaurant at airports, starting with Los Angeles.

They will be called Besitos, which means 'little kisses' in Spanish.

Longoria said she is a hands-on businesswoman and will be traveling regularly to Las Vegas to oversee the new venue.

"I'm a big fan of the art of cuisine. I love to cook and I love to entertain, so I feel like this is just an extension of me," she said.
