Angelina Jolie is reportedly battling it out for the lead role in the Barbarella remake with her younger lookalike Megan Fox.
34-year-old Angie can't
help but be compared to 23-year-old Fox as two share the same sexy
pout, penchant for tattoos and long dark hair.
Previously it had been reported that Megan would be taking over for Angie in a Tomb Raider prequel...as the role required a younger looking character.

This is a lie. Barbarella is a cheesey movie that only new and low-level actresses would be involved in. Other names attached were Lindsay Lohan, Rose McGowen, and Jessica Alba. An A-list Oscar winner is not going to go for the same roles as these women.
Lois: Totally correct (almost!). Angelina can have any role she wants and why would she want Barbarella? Some people feel nostalgia for the original because Hanoi Jane was in it but it's really junk. Why would Angie want to be in a remake of that? Now Lois, I take issue with you putting Rose McGowan in that group of losers. She's a goddess, perfect in every way and should play the Jane Greer role in a remake of Out Of The Past.

Believe me this is not a true story. If they gave it to Fox and AJ came in and said she wanted it, Fox would be out. Period.
Not true. Poor Angie she can not catch a break. She is in France with Brad and her kids trying to live as normal a life as possible, laying low and still she gets dragged in to these stupid fights. Angie would never do Barbarella. Why would she want to play such a phoney character? Also, why is it that everyone always wants to question Brad and Angies humanitarian motives and their love for each other. Everything that comes out of their mouths confirms the truth yet the tabloids keep making up stories and printing lies. Why???
I like magen and angie, I think that they should both be in the new tombraider, magen as laras trainie or daughter that way we can see them both, there both HOT!
