TMZ reports that Hasselhoff's daughter Hayley called her mother, Pamela, after becoming increasingly concerned with her father's excessive drinking.
After one of Pamela's friends called 911 to Hasselhoff's Encino home, an ambulance took him to a hospital.
The Baywatch actor has had repeated struggles with alcohol abuse in the past, with repeated trips to rehab.

Hopefully he can get some much needed help removing that fanny pack he has.
Kidding aside; this is a tragic disease. I feel bad for his family... particularly his daughter.
