Brad Pitt has taken his humanitarian home building program to a whole new level.

The Sun newspaper reports that Brad Pitt has spent $75,000 building a run for his children's gerbils.
Pitt is well known for his love of architecture and is said to have personally overseen every step of the project at his family's French estate.
The run includes a maze of tunnels, seesaws and platforms.
The Sun quotes a source, who said:
"Brad pores over architectural journals like other people pore over newspapers. He had so much fun putting the run together with his kids Maddox, Zaharra, Shiloh and Pax.
"It's incredibly complex and cost a lot but Brad's more than happy with any activity that can combine his two passions - his kids and architecture."

Ha ha! What a cute story! I just have my doubts of the credibility of this story since it was published in The Sun. But IF it´s true those two gerbils are the luckiest gerbils in the whole world!
I love the fact that Brad loves the building trades at all. The company I work for (IBTS) is doing what they can to help rebuild Louisiana. They are creating the new infrastructure for Building Permit processes that Louisiana didn't have before. I just hope it isn't giving Brad any problems. I would love to hear from him on any issues relating to the permit process.
Brad Pitt is beloved in New Orleans. He has done so much for the city. Many celebrities appeared right after Hurricane Katrina hit but 4 1/2 years later, Brad alone has stuck with us. A few months ago, T-shirts that read "Brad Pitt for Mayor" started appearing. This is something the people of New Orleans have done because we so wish to acknowledge all he has done for the city. He is NOT running for mayor, unfortunately. He would win if he did run though. Though I still live in another state far from New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina; I visit there often. Thank you, Brad Pitt. Thank you!!!!!
