Lindsay Lohan has enough cheap and tacky ways to get publicity thank you very much.

A rep for the actress has denied reports that she'll appear on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother and said it is a "tacky way" to get publicity.

The 23-year-old was at the centre of recent reports that claimed she was in talks with producers on the British show to follow the lead of LaToya Jackson, Coolio and Verne Troyer and appear as a contestant.

However, Lindsay is not discussing details with bosses and will not be appearing on the show.

The rep said that the show's execs: "have been calling and emailing her whole team, and it has been a pass. This is a tacky way to get cheap publicity".
