Uh---to have the President of the United States spending ANY time commenting on an "entertainer's" antics of any sort is very disturbing and very telling about his mindset. Given where we are and what is happening domestically and internationally--it is bizarre that he would feel compelled to waste any time commenting on something SO vacuous and meaningless. The fact that he did and does is very concerning.

I think Hugh06 point was taken out of context. The president has commented on many things that he should just not comment on. He has a lot more issues that are of much greater concern. Sure he can comment on whatever he likes, but his approval rating has fallen so much in the past couple of months you would think he would take a "backseat" approach to this. I voted for the man, but he is starting to concern me!

When speaking to someone from the media there is no such thing as off the record, tape recorder come to mind potus. That is from a script that an actor /actress said in a movie or a tv show. Ethics haas nothing to do with it, you say it, yes it can be published. You have the bully pulpit potus. Many of us believe it would be better if you used your bully pulpit for the business of the US. Taylor is not old enough too have a beer, a soft drink would be acceptable and kanye nobody cares what he drinks.
