Looks like Kate Hudson's luck finally rubbed off last night as boyfriend Alex Rodriguez struck out three times last night in the loss to the Philadelphia Phillies in game 1 of the World Series.

The first lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden were on hand (as well as a few snipers), to draw attention to their I Participate community service campaign as well as to highlight the work of the Welcome Back Veterans Organizaion.  

Also in the stands was Kurt Russell and Minka Kelly, girlfriend of New York Yankees short stop Derek Jeter.
