If anyone can afford to leave a tip...it's Miley Cyrus.
But apparently, the teen
singer decided to keep the change after dining at a New York Outback
Steakhouse...leaving the staff outraged.
The Hannah Montana star, who was there with sister Brandi, handed over a $100 dollar bill, but according to a staff member there, left nothing else on the table.
A spokesperson for Miley said:
"She made a genuine mistake in failing to tip."
Bet she'll never make that mistake again.

You left out a huge part of the story. It was a takeout order not dining in. Most people don't tip takeout orders since you just walk in and get your food. Nobody tips the cashier at McDonalds.
You can't tip at McDonald's. Employees don't accept tips. Money intended for tips goes into a Ronald McDonald House chairty fund in front of the register. And you should be classy and generous (especially if you're a multimillionaire) and tip on takeout, because it's not like your food made itself and carried itself over to the counter. Tip hierarchy is shared in most restaurants, from the the servers to the kitchen to the bussers, who are all making less than a minimum wage hourly since tips are built into pay scale.
Is it still "silly season"?
Sure, if you're a millionaire, I think you should have the decency to leave the change, but why should the staff be "outraged" just because she doesn't? Is there a law that giving tips is compulsory then?
Us Europeans think the whole matter is absurd. Restaurant bills here sometimes include an 10% service charge (which is optional, but almost everyone will pay it), and if there isn't one, then you're not expected to pay a tip anyway.
Erin, It's the law to make atleast minimum wage. and waitresses make a seperate wage that still is within the law. and tipping on take out? are you stupid ? no the food does not cook itself or fly over the counter, That's what your paying for! and as far as the staff being outraged? that's about stupid too.
