Mischa Barton Disappoints At Whitney Art Gala

She's never really been the most fashionable person but this even surprising for Mischa Barton. At last night's Whitney Museum Art Gala the OC actress turned up in this shapeless and one shoulder belted purple sack that not even Grimace would use to towel off with after an afternoon in a sauna.
We don't mean to pile on Mischa, she seems nice enough, but her show The Beautiful Life was recently canceled after only airing two episodes and now she's saying that she "needs to back away from TV for a while and that the medium "isn't really for her."
Really Mischa, it's just not for you? How about looking at it this way, you left a hit TV show in it's prime for a dream on the big screen (just like David Caruso did with NYPD Blue) but the roles and the movies didn't come, you were arrested for DUI, had a nervous breakdown, and now you're back where you started.
It's not that TV isn't for you or that you're tired of TV; it's TV that is tired of you.
Agree. I like the shoulder detail but get lost after the belt (even her hair) Gorgeous rich girl should be in fabulous outfit.

She did not left the show. The creator of the show decided to kill the character. No character to play, no reason for her to stay.
If you(the writer of this piece) manage to do some research, you will notice that she has done more movies than television thru her career. She has also appear in films afteleaving that TV show. The y might have not been successful but then so what?
Actually after the first season Mischa often said she wanted to leave to do movies. Fortunately at the end of the third season, she got her wish and her character was killed. Sure she did movies after she was off the show, but most weren't released at least not in the US and just about all were low budget and didn't get distribution deals. That's not something to brag about.
