Joel Madden hasn't shaved for five weeks - because girlfriend Nicole Richie likes him with a "dirty face".

The 30-year-old rocker blogged on his Twitter page about not shaving in over a month, and then asked his Twitter followers to vote whether he should shave or not.
He tweeted: "Should I shave? [I] haven't in five weeks..."
Madden later added that his followers had voted against him shaving, adding: "OK, so the tweets have spoken - 80 per cent say I should not shave. If that is your wish, then I will not shave. But by mid-Jan I should have a beard."
He then listed the "three good reasons why Joel should not shave" as being: "1. It's November 2. Nicole likes me with a dirty face 3. I'm lazy."
