While Angelina Jolie stayed put in France with Shiloh, Zahara and twins Vivienne and Knox, Brad Pitt was busy spreading the news of their family planning to the waiting media in Venice.
Seen here taking the two boys on a boat to Marco Polo airport in his trademark hat, Brad looked every inch the doting dad as he showed Pax Thien and Maddox the sights of Venice.
The father of six made the short trip across Europe to join his best buddy George Clooney, the duo gathered here to promote their latest film 'Burn After Reading' at the Venice Film Festival.
Once on the red carpet, Pitt wasted no time in being honest, openly revealing that he and Jolie hoped to expand their brood to eight by the end of next year. So get ready for a few more magazine deals guys!

Angelina Jolie has turned to a porn star pal for advice on a new film role, it has been claimed.
The actress is said to have asked adult film star Tera Patrick for help after Jolie was tipped as a new Catwoman.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "They are friends and keep in touch via e-mail.
"She and Angie have a girl-talk thing going. After seeing reports that she'll land the lead role, Jolie asked Patrick what she thought.
"
It follows reports that the 33-year-old actress will play the lead role in an action thriller previously earmarked for Tom Cruise.
The script of espionage action flick Edwin A Salt will be reworked and the title changed.
Jolie will play a CIA officer who is accused of being a Russian spy and goes on the run until she can prove her innocence. The new film has yet to go into production.
It is not expected to be released until at least 2010.

New dad Brad Pitt is heading back to work, as an Inglorious Bastard.
The proud father will play a Jewish resistance boss in Quentin Tarantino's remake of the WWII adventure 'Inglorious Bastards'.
Pitt read Tarantino's script while in France waiting for Angelina Jolie to give the birth to twins, Vivienne and Knox, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie is due to begin filming in Germany on October 13 and will be ready for the Cannes Film Festival in May.
So lets hope Jolie has her nannies on speed dial, because she's about to go solo with six children!

It's hard to imagine giving birth to
just one baby worth over $6 million, let alone two! But that's exactly
what golden couple Brad and Angelina have done. Just two weeks after
giving birth to twins Vivienne and Knox, the couple sold exclusive international
picture rights to Hello Magazine for $15 million.
The
duo's first biological baby, Shiloh, sold for $4 million with the money
going to charity which the same intended for funds the twins raise.
This means overall, the caring pair have raised $19 million for merely
holding a few buns in the oven. Sweet.
But it gets better! People magazine have reportedly purchased the US
rights to the first pictures for ANOTHER $15 million! That makes it $30
million worldwide for the first pictures of Vivienne and Knox!
People.com is unveiling the pictures this Sunday, August 3rd at 7PM
eastern standard time with the pictures hitting the stands in next
week's issue. Hello magazine hits the stands worldwide on on August
6th.
I know I'll be buying a copy!
Update: According to WWD, Hello and People are splitting the $15 million, not paying $15 million each.
It's not $30 million but that is still some serious coin for charity.

A US artist has poked fun at the fans of Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie by dubbing them 'Brangeloonies'. News that the couple, usually nicknamed 'Brangelina' by celebrity watchers, had welcomed newborn twins inspired the painter to come up with this work.
The faux-religious work shows Tomb Raider star Angelina dressed up as a Madonna-style figure holding two babies wearing crowns. The artwork also makes a mockery of all the Angelina fans that choose to hate Jennifer Aniston, despite the fact she divorced Brad 3 years ago.
Among the online comments she read that sparked the artistic reaction were: "I only want to celebrate and sing her [Angelina's] praises. I have been down on my knees all morning, where I know she would want me to be, blessing this holy family. God bless the Jolie-Pitts!"

Angelina Jolie is being tipped to play Batman's nemesis, Catwoman! It's believed Jolie is keen on slipping herself into the form-fitting catsuit to reprise the role, according to the woman who made it famous on TV.
"Angelina would own the part," says actress Julie Newmar. "My industry friends tell me she has made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love. When you look at the staggering box office of this current film, which actress wouldn't want to jump at it? "
Newman, 74, played Catwoman in the original Batman TV series, staring Adam West.
Actresses Michelle Pfeiffer played the role of Catwoman in 1992, while Halle Berry took a shot at it in 2004.
Meanwhile Jolie is currently enjoying family life in France with lover Brad Pitt and the couple's newly born twins. I'm sure the idea of squeezing into a cat suit right now is a little optimistic.
