This morning, the UK newspapers were quick to brand Angelina Jolie's red carpet appearance at the
15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards as bland, but here at
Splash, we beg to differ. In our eyes, the Hollywood sensation looked effortlessly flawless and as elegant as always, in her blue flow length Max Azria gown. And her
second attempt at an 'up do' last night hit perfection yet again!
What's more the "royal couple" were only too happy to gush about their love for each other ahead of the SAG Awards.
In separate interviews, the pair described each other as fantastic people and parents. Changeling star Angelina replied:
He's taught me a great deal, he's a wonderful man and a great father. He's one of, if not the, person I admire most in the world. I know who he is every moment of every day, I think he's extraordinary.
With 45-year-old Benjamin Button actor Brad Pitt saying; "She's an amazing woman and a fantastic mother, I don't have enough good things to say about her."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in Berlin for the German premiere of
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Wearing a tailored black suit and matching scarf, Brad looked impeccable despite the fact that he is still sporting the mustache he grew for his role in
Inglorious Basterds.
The verdict is still out on Angelina's red carpet outfit though. Here in the office, we can't decide if we like her bedhead like updo and her pantsuit looks like it came out of Katie Holmes' closet.

Tomb Raider star looked as far removed from being a mother-of-six as possible.
Meanwhile an equally attractive Brad Pitt remained glued to Jolie's hip as he posed with an over zealous quiff and a sharp suit.

Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt has revealed to Hello! magazine how his family plans to make it a cheap Christmas this year, choosing to make their own presents rather than opt for expensive gifts.
The The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star, who has the joy of looking after six children over the festive period with long term partner Angelina Jolie, says his kids never ask for big gifts as they see little of American advertising and cartoons.
"When they do see that stuff, is when they start asking for the toys, so we figure if they don't see them, they won't know they're there. So we have gifts, but we try to keep the money spent to a minimum. The rule is that everyone's got to make something for someone else, you got to put time into it."

You feel like you're just having a conversation with him, but he's a really good director. You kind of walk away and think wow he snuck one in there, but he's great, he's just the best."
