Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz arrived in Washington to take part in the White House Correspondents Association Dinner looking like the cute couple that they are. This newly-engaged twosome have totally redeemed themselves with their lovey-doveyness. Awwww. It's two bad that they weren't headed somewhere a little more romantic this time, but but being politically-minded goes far.

Everyday it's "Is Ashlee pregnant?" or "Oh my God, look she's covering up her belly!" and today is no different. Ashlee took the stage for an upcoming episode of Jimmy Kimmel wearing a zipup hoodie and for the most part, except for the picture above, kept her hands in her pockets to keep us all guessing as to what her belly really looks like.

Ashlee, because you're trying to drag this on for as long as possible, you've forced me to make a guess as to why you're not commentating on this pregnancy thing. It's not Pete Wentz's baby is it? Papa Joe got to you in the middle of the night and inseminated you with the very seed that created you some twenty odd years ago.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden hang out with Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. Ashlee Simpson and her emo-fiance Pete Wentz had a double date with Nicole Richie and her baby daddy Joel Madden last night in New York City. While Pete vehemently denied that Ashlee was pregnant with his sure-to-be eyeliner wearing spawn, Ashlee has refused to confirm or deny the possible pregnancy, which in this business means that she is in fact pregnant. Ashlee Simpson looked like she was dragging around her own version of Tom Cruise yesterday as she spent an enjoyable evening in New York City with newbie parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
