Imagine taking in the brisk Fall
NYC day in Union Square when the familiar sound of an ice-cream truck rolls up.
You start thinking about the lazy days of summer, when suddenly
Mary-Kate and
Ashley Olsen pop out of the truck and start selling you--not ice-cream---but clothes!
That's what happened yesterday as the twins debuted their new line for JCPenny, Olsenboye.
The multi-moguls sold their teenage goods from the truck with all proceeds from the event going to charity.
Look chic and help out? Not bad!

Ashley Olsen left a brownstone in New York looking like a regular gal with major roots and possibly greasy hair to boot. Even though her net worth is staggering, she still seems oddly normal when you put it down on paper... refreshing!
Ashley was seen hiding behind her bodyguard in the West Village today.

I thought that store relaunches were supposed to be festive and fun. . . not at this NYC locale. Ashley Olsen-- or shall I say
Trollsen?-- was seen soaking up some fashion energy at Mango's Soho flagship store in Soho last night. Doesn't she seem kind of naked when she's not flanked by her super twin Mary-Kate? The
Influence co-author took to the black carpet in all black and posed in front of a black backdrop. I hope the clothes were more interesting than the scenery!
Mary-Kate was busy partying it up in Dubai with the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson while Ashley posed for Splash.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were singing copies of their book Influence, Peta was stationed outside the Borders in Westwood, CA protesting.
Mary-Kate and Ashley or as Peta likes to call them, Hairy Kate & Trashly Trollsen have penchant for wearing fur, lots and lots of fur which they (and yours truly) frowns upon.
Do you think the Olsen twins will give up their fur-wearing ways anytime soon?

Influence as they posed with their new book at Borders in Westwood. Even through the book met raised eyebrows in the beginning, it has been lauded as a fresh book with cool celebrity perspective.
Influence also supposedly have tons of never-before-released pics and writing from the girls, so it's definitely worth a look!

Mary-Kate Olsen and twin sister Ashley are all over New York City promoting their new book, "Influence."
Today they were signing copies at the Union Square Barnes & Noble
and dare I say it, both of them looked great. Seriously, where are the
homeless chic over sized coats, huge sunglasses, and handbags bigger than
them? Instead Ashley wore some rockin' leather pants while twin sis
Mary-Kate wore a demure black mini dress.
But back to their book, "Influence" is geared toward younger readers
and introduces them to the Full House stars as well as designers,
actors, and artists you have influenced their lives in some way.
