UPDATE: Avril Lavigne has confirmed her split from Deryck Whibley.
Lavigne confirmed on her website saying:
"I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart."

Us Weekly is reporting that rock star couple,
Avril Lavigne and
Deryck Whibley, are heading for splitsville.
She dumped him and told him she was leaving, reports the mag, and that divorce papers will be filed any day now.
An insider was quoted saying Whibley is "crushed," while neither camps reps chose to comment.

hey were photographed together was December of last year.

Avril Lavigne was in Texas last night to watch the New York Yankees take on the Rangers and who knew the Canadian singer was a fan of The Pinstripes? Are the Toronto Blue Jays not good enough for her?
Anyway, um, where is her husband Deryck Whibley? Seriously, It feels like the "Sk8er Boi" singer and her Sum 41 hubby haven't been photographed together in what seems like a year.
So is Avril really a fan of the Bronx Bombers or she trying to pull a Kate Hudson?
