Last week, the conservatorship for Britney Spears filed a restraining order against her former self-proclaimed manager Sam Lutfi and her ex-boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. The Spears family were concerned that these two ex-friends were trying conspire against the Toxic singer.

Now shady Sam has counterattacked, filing his own case against Britney Spears and her crew for libel, defamation and claims that Jaime and Lynne Spears "launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney's life."

Despite seemingly accomplishing their objectives, Jamie and Lynne have nevertheless continued their smear campaign against Lutfi. Thus, having no other alternative, Lutfi brings this action to defend himself against Jamie's and Lynne's persistent attacks.

Lutfi also states that Lynne's 2007 book Through The Storm was damaging and is filled with "lies and fabrications."

Since the publication of the book, Lutfi has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and scorn," and has received "numerous death threats from overzealous fans," the lawsuit reads, adding that Lutfi can "no longer find work as a counselor of at-risk teens.

Britney Spears has completely turned around her career since Sam was banned from her life and she was placed in the care of her family.

So who do you believe? Sam Lutfi or the Spears clan?

Reportedly, Britney and Kevin had privately drawn up an astonishing plan to get the boys traveling with her. A plan that saw Kevin getting $4,000 a week just for giving his approval and involved Brit planning to have three homes, in three areas, that she would travel to while on tour. 

It's believed K-Fed's lawyers are furious he agreed to it and ready to banish the plan. Weird huh?

But now Britney's lawyers have gone to court and obtained a restraining order against Ghalib and her former self-proclaimed manager Sam Lutfi - claiming they were conspiring together against the Toxic singer.

According to TMZ.com, a source said that Britney's conservators went to court on Friday morning to "protect her from Sam and Adnan." The source then added that Britney was afraid of them both and hoped they "would be locked up in jail."

Update: We were right to be suspicious of this story. E! Online spoke to Britney's camp called the story a "total fabrication." Oh and this Sandip dude didn't even choreograph her Womanizer video. All the dance work was done by Brit Brit's longtime choreographer Andre Fuentes.

The interwebs are a buzz with the rumor that Britney Spears is dating Sandip Soparrkar, the choreographer from her Womanizer video and even escaped for a romantic rendezvous with the Indian heartthrob.

Britney, 27, even flew to Jodhpur for a romantic three-day Christmas break with Sandip who is a pin-up in his native India.

The couple, who have been dating for three weeks, exchanged homemade pressies under the tree.

Our source reveals: "It's early days but their romance is going from strength to strength.

"Britney and Sandip tried to keep their reunion in India hush-hush as they're determined to have a relationship just like any other couple."

There is so much wrong with this story that I can't believed it was published. How could Britney just jet away to India? Isn't daddy Spears still in control of all her travel arrangements? No way he gave her a three-day pass to fly to India to hook up with some dude. Especially over Christmas.

Also, why the hell aren't there any pictures of her leaving LA? Arriving back into town? Making a connection in the UK? Britney can't go to the bathroom without a pack of photographers documenting every move so how could she travel half-way around the world and not have anyone find out about this?

And finally, wasn't she just rumored to be seeing Paris Hilton's ex Benji Madden? I know it's quiet but are we going to connect Britney to every dude she comes in contact with just fill space, no matter how tenuous the relationship is? What's next, Britney's dating her local mail man?
