Its not often we catch up with Claire Danes, but when we do, she is always looking as pretty as a peach. In a simple but chic outfit of jeans and a white shirt, Claire was in attendance with the DonorsChoose.org, to help promote the national expansion of the non-profit website at a NYC public high school.

Word on the rumour mill is that Claire Danes has dumped English actor Hugh Dancy and was apparently seen lip locking in West Virginia with a famous (questionable) local writer. Well before you all get your knickers in a twist, a friend of a friend of Claire's has said that she has hardly left Broadway and she couldn’t possibly have had time to jet down to Virginia for a quick tongue sandwich.
A source close to Claire said: "It's impossible that she could have even been in Virginia, she is in New York."
Claire is currently in and has been starring as Liza Doolittle in the new Broadway production of 'Pygmalion' with I might add the delightful Hugh Dancy.
Ah, gossip mongers eh!

I thought this day couldn't get any better after creepy street performer David Copperfield was
accused of rape and the FBI raided his warehouse but much arch-nemesis Claire Danes received terrible reviews for her performance as Eliza Doolittle in "Pygmalion."
The New York Post described Danes' transformation from a poor, uneducated cockney flower girl into a society lady as "handsomely done," but The New York Times said her "game, conscientious portrayal doesn't make much of an impression."
"Ms Danes works hard at maintaining audibility," wrote New York Times reviewer Ben Brantley. "But the effort pre-empts her relaxing into anything like spontaneous emotions ... And there's no fire in her final face-off with Henry."
The
unbiased untrained eye may look at those reviews and go "Hey Chris, those look more like 'mixed' reviews than 'terrible' reviews, what's your deal?" Just like you don't read the New York Times for the latest on the Yankees, you don't read The Post for their theater reviews. So I'm striking the NYP review from the mix because
I am selfish immature grudge holding a**hole it is an aberration proving that she stinks.

I was so excited for the new movie 'Stardust' with its' all-star cast and rave reviews until I found out it also stars Claire Danes. I can't stand her and it's all because of a run in I had with her when I was in high school.
Friend introducing her: "Hey Chris, I want you to meet my friend Claire."
Me: "Right on, nice to meet you," (extending hand while trying to hide the fact that she is even less attractive in person than she is on TV) "congrats on your show, it's doing really well" (My So Called Life was huge at the time)
Danes: "Whatever, can we like go somewhere else?"
Now I didn’t watch her piece of sh*t show but because I was a nice guy I complimented her on her success and what did I get for it? Blown off by a glorified soap star that should mix in a steak every now and then. Is it childish to hold grudge like this? Probably. Do I care? No.
Next time I will tell you where my deep-seated rage towards Kirsten Dunst comes from.
