Colin Farrell may have tried his best to snag a lady, but he managed to get rejected despite his hot looks. According to recent
NY Post gossip, Farrell tried to hit on model Meghan Lowther at the Rose Bar in New York's Gramercy Park Hotel and got the smack down-- from her boyfriend.
The Irish-born star, complete with wingmen (loser!), is said to have ogled the model before walking over as she was ordering a drink. "Farrell bumped into the fellow next to her and asked, 'Who is this guy?' Lowther replied, 'He's my boyfriend.'"
But I like what happened next. . . Farrell told the boyfriend that "'You've got the most beautiful girl in the place, and you can't blame a guy for trying.'"
"The boyfriend replied, "'You tried. Now get out of here.'" Ouch! I'm sure Farrell consoled himself and moved on, though. Considering that he's been linked to a string of Hollywood actresses, including Lindsay Lohan, his track record speaks for itself.

Movie hunk Colin Farrell has revealed how it will be a "great honour" to help finish Heath Ledger's final film. The Irish star is one of several actors who have signed on to film scenes as Heath's character in 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus', making sure it is completed for the tragic actor. Speaking on the Oscar's red carpet, he said:
"It's a great honour to have - an honour obviously I wish I didn't have but a great honour to have. I will go up and just do my best and try to help to get Heath's last piece of work out there. That's what it's all about, just finishing what Heath started and trying to do as best a job as possible for him."
Colin, whose Oscars date was his mum Rita, also revealed what he would do if he wasn't an actor. He said: "I would like to make something with my hands, maybe be a carpenter or maybe make hats. Serious, straight up. I was never good at school."

My love of Colin Farrell is pretty well-known (like
here, and
also here): he's ultra rough and tumble, and I think he's got the same sort of manly artistic vibe as Johnny Depp. However, Colin was looking slightly less attractive than I like to imagine he usually does. Ho, hum: at least we got a glimpse of him at the film premiere of "In Bruges" in Dublin.
Do you think he's getting to the
"wash your hair!" stage again?

Yummy Colin Farrell was just another one of the gorgeous celebs wandering Utah and the Sundance Film Festival. He may number amongst the
beautiful people taking up a weekend of snow and film, but this guy is my favorite and deserves a post of his own just due to general hotness.
Colin slouched around wearing his usual comfy hat and trendy man-scarf.

In keeping with Anna's traditional of occasionally posting a hot guy for the ladies & such, I've found a yummy photo of Colin Farrell in Century City yesterday. He may be pretty scruffy here, but this man is quite the hunk, and an observant one, too-- it looks like he was on to us yesterday when we snapped these photos!

A manly looking Colin Farrell, who recently revealed his son had special needs, attended a book signing for 'Click' in Borders in NYC yesterday. I'm guessing the PR on this were working on the moto 'book a celebrity and they will come'.
The world's best loved authors, Arthur Levine, Eoin Colfer, Roddy Doyle, Deborah Ellis, Margo Lanagan, Linda Sue Park and Tim Wynne Jones each contributed a chapter in the life of the mysterious George 'Gee' Keane, photographer, soldier, adventurer and enigma. In which royalties from the sale of 'Click' benefit Amnesty International.
