Colin Farrell was spotted looking 'oh so scruffy but still oh so gorgeous' as he strolled through Beverly Hills with a friend yesterday. His appearance came as Hollywood began to whisper that the actor had been confirmed for a part in Peter Weir's, The Way Back, along side Ed Harris; "A fact-based story centered on soldiers who escaped from a Siberian gulag in 1940."

Colin Farrell braved the horrible holiday crowds to arrive in Heathrow and kick off celebrations, looking attractive and just a tad scruffy at the terminal at 3 in the afternoon. Fedora-wearing Colin grabbed his leather luggage and then a black cab on his way into Central London, where he'll be enjoying the Christmas spirit around town.
Can't get enough of dashing Colin? He's been linked to the film The Way Back, which is about a soldier who escapes a Siberian gulag, and has Ed Harris as a potential co-star in the film. It's going to be a good one, too, because Peter Weir is directing the film.

Actor Colin Farrell arrived in London this afternoon and the In Bruges star barely stopped as he made his way throw
Heathrow's Terminal 3.
Dressed in a some pin-striped suit, gray fedora, and clutching his cellphone, the actor hopped in a black cab bound for Central London. We're not sure what the Irish actor is doing in the UK over Christmas as he calls Los Angeles home in order to be near his son James, who suffers from Angelman syndrome.

Colin Farrell looked dashingly, daringly sexy as he exploded from the car to get past all the paparazzi on his way out of Los Angeles. Looking like the usual scruffy hunk (and one of the few who can look this good with a pony-knob, seriously), he tried to avoid the cameras at all costs and get onto his plane without much fuss. Mission Semi-Accomplished.
Colin may have admitted giving up the bad-boy lifestyle, but he still looks like one. Can't complain about that!

Colin Farrell has admitted not being able to remember huge parts of his life, as a result of drink and drugs, claiming the last ten years of his life are a complete blur. The actor checked himself into a rehab clinic treating addictions to recreational drugs and painkillers in December 2005
"The last ten years is pretty sketchy. The memories of all the stuff that happened when I was doing that stuff were taken. There's just a gap, a void. Chunks of it are missing but I think I had a good time, an expensive time. I'm still paying for it."
Farrell left rehab in January 2006 and says he has given up drinking completely, adding, "for me there's no choice to be honest with you. I was pretty sick. I'd been fairly drunk or high since I was 14. It was a tough life change but I was dying and I'm one of the lucky ones who so far has got out of it. The first three months were a nightmare."
Colin also spoke out about the release of a private sex tape filmed with former girlfriend Nicole Narain in July 2005. The film was loaded onto a website named dirtycolin.com after falling into the wrong hands. The Irish hunk says he was offered cash to give permission for the film to be made available in hotels, but a Los Angeles judge issued an injunction barring the sale, distribution, or display of the tape.
"The man in charge said I hope you've learned your lesson Mr Farrell and I said 'absolutely, next time I'll take the tape with me'," he said on BBC's Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.

Colin Farrell may have tried his best to snag a lady, but he managed to get rejected despite his hot looks. According to recent
NY Post gossip, Farrell tried to hit on model Meghan Lowther at the Rose Bar in New York's Gramercy Park Hotel and got the smack down-- from her boyfriend.
The Irish-born star, complete with wingmen (loser!), is said to have ogled the model before walking over as she was ordering a drink. "Farrell bumped into the fellow next to her and asked, 'Who is this guy?' Lowther replied, 'He's my boyfriend.'"
But I like what happened next. . . Farrell told the boyfriend that "'You've got the most beautiful girl in the place, and you can't blame a guy for trying.'"
"The boyfriend replied, "'You tried. Now get out of here.'" Ouch! I'm sure Farrell consoled himself and moved on, though. Considering that he's been linked to a string of Hollywood actresses, including Lindsay Lohan, his track record speaks for itself.
