Soccer player
David Beckham is set to spend his Thanksgiving in US army barracks to boost morale on a trip to Germany.
The 34-year-old star will fly with his
LA Galaxy teammates to Kaiserslautern in Germany to support the military campaign in Afghanistan.
Becks will reportedly be visiting the army troops and their families during the trip.
The team will be out in Germany on November 26, which is Thanksgiving and is an important time for the US soldiers.
Beckham will be joining his teammates to play Kaiserslautern FC in a friendly match on the night of Nov 26.

This time around, it looks like
Cruz Beckham is setting the standard for fashionable trends when papa
David Beckham showed up to his
LA Galaxy game with blonde locks and a matching mohawk.
And while Cruz may be the rocker of the fam, it looks like little
Romeo is taking a more dapper approach.
And if anyone cares about who won the game...The Galaxy beat the Chivas. This means that Becks will play in the finals on Friday.

David and
Victoria Beckham have snapped up the latest celebrity trend - the micro-pig.
The pair have acquired two of the tea-cup-sized pets, which are currently being pampered by staff at the couple's "Beckingham Palace" in Hertfordshire, England.
The special crossbreed piglets come with a designer price-tag of £700 ($1,159) each.
The former Spice Girls singer is said to want to name the piglets Elton and David after their close friends
Sir Elton John and his partner
David Furnish, while football star Becks is reportedly keen to call them Pinky and Perky.
The pedigree pigs are already popular with other celebrities, including
Harry Potter actor
Rupert Grint, who is thought to own one, and
Paris Hilton.

Still rocking his beard,
David Beckham turned up at the Staples Center to watch the
Los Angeles Lakers last night. It was the opening night of the
NBA season with the "Lake Show" easily earning its first win of the season behind
Kobe Bryant's 33 points and the defense and rebounding of new addition
Ron Artest.
Also in the crowd were
Kim Kardashian and sister
Khloe, who was checking out how new hubby
Lamar Odom's game was doing after signing that fat contract.
