Football ace David Beckham has been teased for going to tanning salons and for using a scent smelling of "lavender, puppies and rainbows".David and wife Victoria Beckham have reportedly been going to tanning salons together in L.A., with one insider joking:

"I guess the world's most metrosexual couple believe that spouses who tan together, stay together."

But David was particularly being teased for asking for a special scent in Sunstyle tanning salon in West Hollywood to hide the tanning room smell. The LA Galaxy star tried to slip discreetly out of a booth smelling of "lavender, puppies and rainbows". An insider said: "The beds have a nozzle that sprays you with a scent so you don't leave the booth smelling like charred flesh." Meanwhile, he is also accused of being "increasingly demanding". Before his trip to Brazil this week, he issued a few ultimatums, according to U.s. websites. According to one, demands included: "Women couldn't take pictures with him. Men could but couldn't be wearing any type of promotional clothes. The translator had to be a man. Football legend David Beckham can be seen here working in his new role as an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. David took time out from watching his wife Victoria Beckham prance about on stage and visited Sierra Leone to call international attention to the issue of child survival. "We can't turn a blind eye to the tens of thousands of young children who die every day in the developing world, mostly from causes that are preventable," he said. Mr Beckham's visit preceded the launch of UNICEF's State of the World's Children 2008 report. The report details the continuum of maternal, newborn and child care needed to reduce the number of children under-5 worldwide who die every year; currently more than 9million. While in the country, Mr Beckham travelled to the town of Makeni in Northern Province, where he visited a UNICEF-support center. The Los Angeles Galaxy star stopped off to train at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium sporting his new hairstyle, and Beckham not only showed off his skills on the pitch but his new silver shaved hair. He even managed to find a top sporting the number 23, his number at former club Real Madrid. Beckham is believed to have asked Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger if he could train with the Arsenal reserves at the 60,000 seat stadium at Ashburton Grove. Perhaps the soccer star is hoping to show new England coach Fabio Capello he is serious about playing for his country. David Beckham may be easy on the eye, but that doesn't mean that the Spice Girls want to see him all the time. UK Magazine Closer has revealed that the girl power band are sick of Victoria spending all her spare time with David. In response Posh has reportedly lashed out at the ladies, claiming that are jealous of her dedicated husband. Golden Ball Becks has been acting as a back stage photographer since finishing his first season with LA Galaxy, but the four remaining Spices' feel Victoria is not working as hard when her hubby is around, they have even nicknamed him 'Yoko Beckham'. "The other girls say Victoria's concentration flags when David is around, [she] is sluggish and has no interest in socialising with the other girls". Tension has been added further by David's concerns on Mel B's husband Stephen Balafonte. A source revealed to Closer: "David has complained to Posh that he hates the way Stephen tries to control Mel B in public. He's even said he thinks Stephen's borderline abusive, because of the way he tries to tell her what she can or can't do.
