Soccer star David Beckham has said that his family's happiness will determine how long he stays in the US. The 34-year-old was talking just before his match with LA Galaxy after missing half of the MLS season playing for Italian powerhouse AC Milan.
Beckham's wife, Victoria, and their three young sons have remained in Los Angeles while he played in Italy.
Asked what is the best part of living in the US, he said:
"The biggest thing is my family, [whether] my family are happy. I've been away from them for six-and-a-half months and I've missed them, so I'm happy to be back."
The football star also admitted that he was looking forward to returning to the LA Galaxy and said that he had no reason to apologize to his fans.
"I think what you've see is that I've been very dedicated to Galaxy, dedicated to the fans. It's important that people realize I am here to play for this team. I am contracted to play for this team and, at the moment, that's the most important thing."

David Beckham was rumored to be starring in a new Armani ad with Angelina Jolie but sadly it's not true. According to the famous footballer there was never an advertising plan in place for him to pose with the Changeling star but even if there was, he wouldn't participate.
In case you forgot the LA Galaxy star is married and he's perfectly happy to keep posing in the sexy ads with his wife, Victoria Beckham.

David Beckham is reportedly being lined up to appear in a new Armani ad campaign with Angelina Jolie.
The 34-year-old footballer has already shot ads for the designer brand before and also with his wife Victoria, 35. It is now claimed that bosses want the couple to appear in a campaign together.

David Beckham is reportedly planning to whisk wife Victoria to Necker Island to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary.
David, 34, and Victoria, 34, tied the knot on July 4, 1999, and it is claimed David is planning the special trip to commemorate their milestone anniversary.
