Former "Friends" star David Schwimmer has taken a new direction in his life, literally, by focusing on his career as a director. However, even with his busy filming work, he still has the time to make regular visits to the gym. Here he is in NYC's Meatpacking neighborhood on the way to work out.

David is known as a lady's man, he has dated some famous people, including the incredibly beautiful Australian singer/actress Natalie Imbruglia. He is quite a catch. Which can't be said for fellow "Friend" Matt LeBlanc, who is still under punishment for the horror that was "Joey".

Director and actor David Schwimmer was another unhappy celebrity that arrived into Heathrow airport in London yesterday after attending the Toronto film festival. Photographers went as far as to describe him as 'moody'. Going by his appearance I wouldn't be surprised if Canada held one to many late nights for him.
