Well, we did happen to catch Eva Longoria shopping around New York today on her search for new sunglasses, but because today has been so gray and icky, I was more excited to see her coming out the salon with a fabulous new 'do. Splash caught up with Eva on her way out in midtown New York. While you're taking a look at the thumbnails, please note how incredibly giant her purse actually is. It dwarfs her!

Who knew shopping for sunglasses could be so chic? Eva Longoria and celeb stylist Robert Verdi brought sexy back at a recent shopping trip at Solstice in Time Warner Center. The pint size actress who was dressed in a black lurex mini dress, opaque tights and platform ankle boots tried on a few pairs before settling for a pair of Jackie O inspired sunglasses. Eva Longoria has been branded "Diva" Longoria by staff at a top Hollywood hotel - by moving furniture around so she could sit by best pal, Victoria Beckham! The Desperate Housewives star arrived at Los Angeles hotspot, the Chateau Marmont, and saw a group that included Posh Spice and Shakira, and rather than sit where she was told to, Longoria began shifting chairs so she could join them. A source told a US newspaper:

"Eva ran straight over to Posh and started pulling up chairs around a big table so they could sit together. The host was furious. She told Eva, 'You cannot bring any more chairs over here. This is a dining room", Eva didn't listen to her, and a head server had to start pulling the chairs from her and move them back to the dining area so people with reservations could sit."

Longoria in the past has said of her new posh pal, "She's so frickin' funny! And I have such an appreciation for her style. She represents womanhood - being a mum, being a wife and still being fabulous. That's inspiring to me. I hope to be as dedicated to my husband and children as she is."

Eva Longoria looks like she was having a pretty great time at Pure nightclub in Vegas, especially when the Madonna track somehow made its way onto the deck. :) These photos make it look like Eva spent a lot of time clapping, huh? She looks so cute regardless of all the strange open-mouth photos and arm flailing. Love her!

Personally I find Eva Longoria a bit boring, thus resulting in me defacing this poor picture with speech bubbles. But I understand that some of you won't be of the same opinion as me, so I have posted this pictures for those of you that consider her charming or in the remote bit talented. Oh, and in case you are also expecting some information along with this post. Eva was spotted emptying her purse at her friends fashion store, Harmony Lane in Beverly Hills, after having lunch at Cafe Med. Her last port of call was Anat B. I bet she is loving the writers guild strikes!
