Gwyneth Paltrow took the kiddies Apple and Moses out to Build-a-Bear in New York-- kind of unusual for this reserved mum-- and she was also spotted taking the kids out to Bar Pitti. Snapped spending the day with the kiddies, Gwyneth looked quiet as usual as she encountered photogs on the street.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and mom Blythe Danner are sending prayers to their showbiz pals Natasha Richardson and Liam Neeson.
The pair appeared together last night on the red carpet in New York where they spoke about
the tragic accident that has left Richardson fighting for her life. Danner said Richardson reached out to her and Gwyneth when the pair were dealing with the death of her husband Bruce Paltrow:
We'll certainly send out prayers and our thoughts and love. Natasha is a beautiful woman and great actress - she wrote me such a lovely letter when we were under such stress with Bruce. I hope and pray for the best. I just think they are extraordinary talents, wonderful parents and such good people.
The mother and daughter duo were in Manhattan at the Museum of Modern Art last night for the premiere of the fashion documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor. The famed designer also sent his best wishes to Richardson's family, saying "I wish that she's going to recover very, very soon. She's a good friend."

Best friends Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow were reunited on the red carpet in New York City last night. Brought together for a dinner party with Valentino at the Oak Room, in honor of the premiere of
The Last Emperor.
The happy duo were first spied air kissing during arrivals, where they notably shared the same red string Kabbalah bracelets, before being snapped enjoying an animated conversation with a glass of red wine, post feast.
Madonna looked particularly happy to be saddled side by side with her former UK gym buddy, laughing and chatting openly in front of the watchful cameras. Photographers were impressed at the singers ability to look just as young as her 36-year-old pal, sizzling in a black wrap dress and Stella McCartney boots.

The economy may be hitting Gwyneth Paltrow's plans for a new gym, according to recent reports. The GOOP lifestyle guru-slash-actress and her trainer, Tracy Anderson, are opening up a trendy new workout spot in New York's TriBeCa neighborhood, but it's rumored that sales reps have resorted to cold-calling people to sign up new members.
"It's ridiculous. Membership is $4,500 to join and then hundreds of dollars a month. Who can afford that right now?" the New York Post quoted one grumbler as saying.
The gym is down to open later this year. . . um, with or without a full list of members, perhaps!

There is one dilemma that no amount of money or fame can solve - and that's the transition from car to elegant posing celebrity in one fool proof move! So we couldn't help but feel an urge of sympathy for the very leggy Gwyneth Paltrow today, as she tried her hardest to maintain her dignity while swishing her self from a very cramped looking car.
Splash had spied the stunning blonde actress as she arrived at a London hotel in a black mac and grey silk dress. Worryingly Gwyn seemed unimpressed to see the waiting paparazzi, as she failed to flash a smile from beneath her straightened maine.
