Heidi Klum was certainly the leading lady in red at last nights star studded 80th Annual Academy Awards. But, as the model strutted in her gorgeous Galliano dress, photographers found she wasn't the only actress who had chosen the vibrant show stopping color. Anne Hathaway, Helen Mirren, Katherine Heigl and Miley Cryus also wowed the crowd with a selection of one strapped dresses, delicately wrapped up waists, luscious lipsticks, and modest cleavages.
Earlier Heidi had told the waiting media she wouldn't let her kids hug her before the Oscars, because she didn't want string cheese all over her dress. Heidi said, "I had to hold them a little bit because Leni was eating string cheese and I was like, 'No, no, no, I cannot have string cheese fingerprints all over me before we do this red carpet.'" Meanwhile hubby Seal, said he had been left breathless when Heidi made her way down their staircase.
Katherine Heigl also spoke out with her red carpet concerns, as she asked Entertainment host Ryan Seacrest if her bright red lipstick had rubbed off on her teeth. Ryan then tried to cheer her up by presenting her with a china plate featuring a picture of him as a late wedding present. He said: "If you want to take that home you can serve Caesar salad on it.

Gorgeous supermodel Heidi Klum has said she would straighten out troubled Britney Spears if the pop wreck came to live with her. The mum-of-three says her family would open their home in Beverly Hills to Spears to help her get her life back on track. Klum spoke out on German TV in an interview:
"She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months. I would help set her straight. I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track. She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life."
You had best ask your neighbors if they like cameras first Heidi, because Britney won't turn up alone.

Madonna's UNICEF Benefit has already proved to be quite a hit the 'A List' celebrities. But
who else made it to New York for her Malawi plight?
Well, Dita Von Teese worked her usual ultra sexy magic. Gavin Rossdale and the gorgeous Gwen Stefani swooned by with their new baby bump. Heidi Klum brought her legs instead of hubby Seal. Rihanna, thankfully, came without any umbrella's. Gwyneth Paltrow though it was a 'pink bow tie' event. Salma Hayek continued to stun the photographers with her cleavage. Cynthia Nixon enjoyed a night out without her 'City' crew and Kate Hudson continued being a
working Mum.
This event had initially been hit by controversy after the Fox News website said: "Raising Malawi is merely a front for Philip Berg's Kabbalah Centre of Los Angeles" and openly accused Madonna of conning Gucci into raising money for Kabbalah under false pretexts.
But last night all that appeared to have been forgotten when the real star of the night (for Madonna) turned up. Her daughter, Lourdes Ciccone Leon. The little lady rarely makes it out for star studded events, but she appears to be growing up nicely.

Heidi Klum was spotted looking fabulous and totally sexy when we caught up with the model on her way out in New York. She definitely looks party-ready and very unlike someone who's had children in terms of figure. I guess she's going for a
blue theme this weekend.
I wonder what big to-do she was headed to in that getup?

Heidi Klum was not taking any chances when she braved the cold weather to attend the after party following the Cinema Society and W magazine's screening of Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton in New York.
The leggy supermodel looked absolutely stunning in a LBD teamed with an electric blue fur coat and blue stilettos.

Heidi Klum is being sued for allegedly ripping off designs from designers Van Cleef & Arpels. Apparently there are some rather irritated execs who believe that Klum's Mouward USA line is far too similar to the Alhambra line over at Van Cleef, and the complaint filed states that "Defendants have appropriated this design and incorporated it into their jewelry line, attempting to appropriate the goodwill built up by Van Cleef & Arpels to create their own 'symbol.'"
Van Cleef is requesting more than $75,000 in damages-- just a bit more than what one of their $61,200 vintage diamond clover necklaces costs. What's your take on this whole lawsuit deal: do you think Heidi could have copied the designs after all?
