Hugh Grant wants to have kids.
"Ten
years ago, I wouldn't have thought about having children at all. But
now I have so many nephews and nieces and cousins and godchildren, I
like the thought."
But he's definitely looking more for a part-time gig.
"But
that's on the basis that I can leave after 10 minutes. I don't know
what it would be like 24 hours a day. I think I'd have a lot of
nannies. I haven't given up hope [that I will have children]."
Hugh says he's "not as bad with children as [he] used to be."
And that he already knows what not to do.
"If you have a smothering parent, the effect it can apparently have on a child is to give them, in equal doses, a sense of too much self-esteem, because they are mummy's little princess or prince, and low self-esteem. It affects future relationships."
"You want to repeat this smothering thing, and you are very adept at bringing people in to love you, love you, and as soon as they get close enough, you push them away. Then you bring them back and push them away again. You can go on torturing people like that for ages."
Hitting a little too close to home, eh, Hugh?

Hugh Grant can't get over his stage fright...which may be the end of his movie career.
"In recent years, I've had
really bad attacks where I totally froze up. I thought, 'Well, if I am
going to get stage fright, then I am packing it in.'"
Grant,
who has scored big with hits like Love Actually, Bridget Jones and Notting Hill, says filming romantic comedies make him particularly nervous.
"I like everything about
filming except the acting. I'm wonderful in rehearsals, but I have
never been very good when they actually switch the cameras on."
Who knew?

No RomCom for the
Top Gun Tom Cruise. Hugh Grant was set to star in a movie and when he pulled out, producers approached Mr. Katie Holmes who said "no thanks."
So Suri's dad doesn't dig Hugh's leftovers - good for him.
But he's brought the
Tropic Thunder to comedy before and methinks his career could use a new and improved revenue stream. Just a thought.

Actor Hugh Grant looked as equally
smart as his co-star Sarah Jessica Parker today, as he swished around his Manhattan movie set in a suit and long black coat. The English star, who is presently filming
Did You Hear About The Morgans? along side the former
Sex and the City actress, proves to have won over Miss SJP rather quickly;
"I think Englishmen live up to all the ideals and Hugh is a perfect example. He's a definition for all of us less well-travelled Americans of the classic literary and cinematic Englishman - witty and brainy. There's nothing smarter and sexier and more interesting than a brain, and I'm very excited about working with him."
Wow! What a quote! I wonder if
Divine Brown thinks the same thing?

UK Magazines and Newspapers are reporting that actor Hugh Grant has been snapped unwittingly surrounded by escort girls at a holiday resort in Spain.
"The actor, who was on a quiet golfing holiday in Puerto Banus, thought he was enjoying a leisurely drink with some stunning local girls but Brazilian prostitute Alvina Sabino, 35, claims they were all 'professionals'. 'They were very flattered that Hugh Grant wanted to spend so much time in their company. 'They both work as dancers and charge £215 to go back to hotels with men. They make really good money as they are very classy.'
