Nicole Scherzinger has said she thought she was an 'ugly duckling' when she was younger.

The Pussycat Doll hottie tells UK magazine Cosmo:

"Growing up, I was incredibly shy. And awkward. And lanky! I always thought I was an ugly duckling. I guess it worked out OK in the end. Ultimately though, true beauty shines from within."

Ummmm...it definitely all worked out. 

The 31-year-old just keeps getting sexier.

Poor Jon Gosselin.
