In the first interview since her brother's death, Janet Jackson sat down with Harper's Bazaar.

She says, "it's really hard to believe he's passed" but that she's "doing okay."
 
Janet, who is currently working on a book, recording a new album and filming Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too, says she flew back to shoot the day of Michael's memorial service.

"Work helps focus all of that energy on something that is of value to you."

On growing up with her famous brother:

"When I was 14 years old, I would shop for him [when his fame prevented him from going out]. I washed his clothes, cleaned his room. When Mother would go out of town, she'd say, 'I'm leaving you in charge. Take care of Mike.' I would head home from school, see what he needed, then go straight to the stores."

And the side of him not many knew:

"He loved to laugh.  The last time we were together, he'd laugh so hard, he would just start crying. Sometimes his humor would be corny, sometimes dry. He loved the Three Stooges, he loved slapstick, he loved Eddie Murphy in his silly comedies. He loved to have fun. He loved to play."

Superstar Janet Jackson has revealed the reason for her being admitted to hospital whilst on tour in Canada recently, she was suffering from vestibular migraines, which can create a feeling of vertigo in the sufferer. However, the singer has been receiving treatment for the condition and her manager said: "She's feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again". Apparently Jackson is very keen to get back to her Rock Witchu tour and re-schedule cancelled dates.

In our gallery, Janet is seen wearing one of her colorful costumes from her current tour. She was performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, in September 2008. Jackson is scheduled to be performing at Madison Square Garden in New York on Novermber 1, after visiting Detroit and Tulsa.

Much to the relief of her fans, Janet Jackson appears to be on the mend. After being rushed to hospital, Jackson was released today. The singer, who was on tour in Canada, spent several hours at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal before being given a clean bill of health. It is believed that sheer exhaustion was probably the key factor in Jackson's sudden illness.

Jackson's Rock Witchu tour is scheduled to be held in Greensboro, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale over the next few days, with some dates being rescheduled to this unexpected down turn in her health. Opening acts for Janet Jackson on this current tour have included Nelly, LL Cool J and Donnie Klang. Our gallery shows Janet in action in Los Angeles.

Janet Jackson had to cancel a concert in Canada on Monday after the onset of a mystery illness saw the singing superstar rushed to hospital. Jackson was due to perform in Montreal as part of her Rock Witchu tour when she started feeling unwell during a sound check. The 42 year old was then taken to hospital.

Her publicists, W&W Public Relations, have not released any specific details regarding Jackson's illness, but have said the singer is still being monitored by doctors. Apparently, Jackson has already planned to re-schedule the concert, which was part of her North American tour. In the increasingly competitive world that pop divas live in, Janet Jackson has decided to take live performing up a notch, by spending a whole evening singing, dancing and wearing provocative outfits and getting up to lewd behavior. The "Rhythm Nation 1814" singer was performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night, and treated the crowd, and our photographers, to a true musical spectacular. The 42 year old cavorted onstage with her fellow leather clad dancers and even plucked a man from the crowd (probably a plant) and performed pretend acts of a lascivious nature upon his person.

Janet, who is promoting her album "Discipline", used a "Bondage & Domination" theme for her "Rock Witchu" show, with various cages and devices being put to use. She appeared in a tight silver and black leather outfit sporting a rather grand looking Mohawk hair-style. In the audience watching were Geri Haliwell and Queen Latifah amongst others, but let's hope timid brother Michael missed the show.

It seems that Janet Jackson's accidental (oh come on) "wardrobe malfunction" has been finally vindicated. The singer was performing with Justin Timberlake at the 2004 SuperBowl when Timberlake tore off part of Jackson's outfit, exposing a conveniently decorated breast. CBS Corp were fined $550,000 for this by the FCC, however, an appeals court has finally thrown out the fine 4 years later, stating that the FCC "acted arbitarily and capriciously".

140 million people watched this happen. 50 million people didn't notice it, 60 million people didn't care, 25 million male teenagers rushed to their bedrooms as they had to do some "emergency" homework, 4 million people taped it and watched it 37 consecutive times, 999,992 people went and bought a Janet Jackson album and/or nipple rings and finally 8 people from Arkansas called CBS immediately full of shock and horror and claiming that this is definitely NOT what Jesus would do.
