We spotted Jessica Simpson heading to a recording studio in Beverly Hills this afternoon and her assistant/PR representative/friend/whatever she is, was not too stoked about all the attention the country music star was getting from the paparazzi.
On an episode of
The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs tomorrow (Wednesday) The
Come On Over singer says that little sister Ashlee is
trying to induce labor.
Ashlee - described by husband Pete Wentz more than two weeks ago as due at any moment - has already tried other ways to begin labor.
"Different foot massages and stuff," Jessica told DeGeneres in the show airing Wednesday. "I don't know. I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now."
In other Jessica news, her boyfriend NFL quarterback Tony Romo returned from an injury to his pinky to take the field and help the Dallas Cowboys defeat the Washington Redskins, 14-10

It's pretty safe to say that Ken Paves did not have a good night last night. After dining with Jessica Simpson at Madeo in West Hollywood, he threw himself into the mix and tried to jostle Simpson through the crowd of photogs.
He was almost at his limo when he was accidentally hit by a camera (warning: blood in thumbnails below), causing him to head to Cedars-Sinai post dinner.
Can we all get hairdressers willing to risk life and limb for us?! That's dedication.

Jessica Simpson celebrated Macy's 150th birthday last night wearing a black skirt and a gray jack with a fur-lined collar (Is that raccoon? Lemur?). The "Come on Over" singer was all smiles probably due to the news that her new movie,
Major Movie Star, is a hit! In Russia! Seriously!
The film, which stars Jess as a down-on-her-luck pop star who enlists in the US Army, opened at
#1 at the Russian box office. But don't think that the success in Eastern Europe will translate to box office dollars here in the states, the film still does not have a release date in the US and there aren't any plans in the works to do so.

Jessica Simpson was all business on her romp through the big apple today. The "Major Movie Star" landed n New York City yesterday and today attented a private event by the Baron Fund.
Tony Romo, her Dallas Cowboy quarterback boyfriend, is still injured (damn pinky's) and his ex-girlfriend Carrie Underwood took the opportunity to
clear the air of the rumored feud between her and Jessica.
"I met her once and she seemed really nice so I don't have a feud with anybody."
The two country stars were rumored to be at war when Underwood stated that she was still in touch with the Dallas QB.

Jessica Simpson, looking gorgeous in a simple sleeveless red dress, had dinner at Madeos in West Hollywood, CA last night. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, The "Come on Over" singer was
spotted ring shopping with boyfriend, Dallas Cowboy's quarterback Tony Romo, at a Dallas area Neiman-Marcus.
Jessica and Tony have been dating for 11-months and there are rumors that the two could be married in a winter ceremony, sometime after the Super Bowl.

I think that the Herve Leger bandage dress is like the regular little black dress: if you're a celebrity, all you need to do if simply throw one on, and you're ready to go! Jessica Simpson switched it up in New York and got sleek at the David Letterman Show. Even in a stiff breeze, she doesn't have to worry about a
spectacular wardrobe failure this time around.
She's going to need to keep her head up this fall, with plenty of bad luck rumors floating around referencing her as a "jinx." Jessica recently responded by saying that "At first I was really upset by it, and you kind of gotta
throw it off and ignore it . . . I don't really feel like I've been a
jinx to Tony or the Cowboys at all." Maybe she'll just make people happy by
not wearing her pink jersey, and that'll be the end of it. Or not.
